If you have any medically-related questions, please contact one of our nurse practitioners- Kari J. Blackburn in Lexington or Ann Muth in Louisville. If you a question related to surgery scheduling or insurance authorization, please contact Tina Boone at our Louisville office. If you need medical records, please contact the office location where you have been receiving care. If you have questions about a bill you have already received, please contact Abacus Medical Billing Services at 859/278-9242.
We can be reached 24 hours a day, seven days a week via our phone system. If we have never seen you as a patient, please do not call us after hours, unless your primary care doctor or an emergency room has already formally referred you to us. If you have a medical issue which occurs outside of regular business hours, please first ask yourself if it is something that can wait until the office opens again. If you feel you must speak with a physician immediately about your concern, please call the office and follow the prompts for patients with emergencies. If you are asked to leave a message, please speak slowly and clearly, stating your name, the patient’s name, your concern, and your contact phone number. If you think your child may need new or different medication, please leave the name of your pharmacy and your pharmacy’s phone number. At the end of the message, repeat your name and your phone number slowly and clearly. We cannot phone in narcotics to pharmacies. If you believe your child needs pain medication outside of normal business hours, proceed to you local emergency room.
